This month, we are featuring the Pegasus Therapeutic Riding center. Pegasus is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) This Premier Accredited Center serves Image of two girls on a ride.more to make an incredible difference by catering to individuals with special needs, disadvantaged youth, trauma survivors, individuals at risk, and adults with development disabilities. Pegasus offers therapeutic horseback riding and unmounted equine-assisted activities. Students get to learn the importance of horsemanship while progressing through a sequence of activities adapted to their abilities. The therapeutic riding portion works towards improving mobility, balance, posture, coordination, language development, behaviour control, and concentration. Being apart of a special community like this, brings a sense of inclusion and community to an otherwise potentially outcast individual. Developing through communion with their equine companion and fellow classmates is a truly transforming  journey,

Here at Cavallo, we’re honoured to partner with the amazing people at PATH International. The dedication, commitment and gracious generosity offered to those in need is an inspiration to anyone coming in contact with this group.
