Where Will Carole Be Next???

Carole Herder speaks about hoof care - Cavallo Horse Hoof Boots

Where will Carole be next???  I’m hitting the road next week because I have a mission, and I have to show up to tell you about it. I need to inspire and improve our lives with horses. When I work from home I make posts, videos, and write blogs and emails to try to support you as best I can.  But the best thing is coming out to be with you, in person, for real.

First Stop – Close to Home!

My first stop is Mane Event, Chilliwack, British Columbia (Oct. 25-27)! I’ll be speaking about Laminitis and overall hoof care, and I’ll be around during the show to meet you and talk about my most-loved topic – hoof boots. If you are there, please come chat at our Cavallo booth (#201).

This bustling show is a yearly favorite. We can hardly wait!  Greg, Jenny, and I attend. We’re excited each year to see the folks from Back Country Horsemen of BC, Horse Council BC, the Okanagan School of Natural Hoof Care, and more! And we’re also very excited to be meeting up with Robert Eversole, the Trailmeister. He’ll be speaking too and sharing his vast knowledge of North America’s trails, and his experience as a back-country rider.

During my presentations, I share my experience accumulated throughout the world with industry experts. I will present studies of hoof care, the barefoot movement, and hoof boot development, highlighting various real-life stories of riders and horses affected by this revolution over the past dynamic decade.

I’ll answer the pertinent questions regarding hoof transition, hoof care, and the application of hoof boots. Also, I’ll show you how to help horses of your own and those of friends and community around you.

BALANCED, BODACIOUS AND BOOTED at Equine Affaire

Next stop – Equine Affaire in Springfield, Massachusetts, and I’ll be talking about – guess what?   Beautiful, balanced, and bodacious hoof boots! Here I’ll have a horse with me, so you can see how he travels and how easy it is to use Cavallos.  My husband (Cavallo CEO and most excellent man) Greg are with me at the Valley Vet Booth – 514/516, having fun with Valley Vet’s lovely and super delightful Kathy Klover, so please stop by to say “howdy”!

Speaking in the Sparkling ‘City of Sails’

Carole Herder Cavallo Hoof Boots Equitana Auckland And then – Equitana Auckland!  This invitation gave me a great reason to visit gorgeous Auckland, New Zealand! I’m tackling the difficult issue of Laminitis in one of my educational sessions.  The title of my talk? “Laminitis is Like Ripping Velcro.”  Does it make you squirm?  It should!  Laminitis is, by far, one of the most feared hoof ailments and affects horses in every corner of the globe.  If your horse becomes affected – why not challenge it head-on, armed with knowledge and without fear?  Here’s where I come in!  I’ve tailored this presentation for the non-professional horse owner, for the prevention, understanding, and treatment of Laminitis. Let’s create an action plan together. Although Laminitis can inflict merciless agony and is potentially fatal, it IS curable with proper, realistic, and appropriate information.

And then THIS one is fun!  In my second presentation, participants will have a chance to “Take the Horse Health Quiz.”  Twelve intriguing questions help you discover your strengths and uncover areas that may require improvement.

Each participant will also receive a gift from me. ‘Tis almost the season. Well, it’s ALWAYS a good time for generosity.

I started Cavallo Horse & Rider Inc. in 1993 by designed and developed the Total Comfort System Saddle Pads to address the other ‘hot spot’ for horses ridden under saddle. I’m excited to have just published my latest book, “Hoofprints on The Journey.” And here’s what Monty and Pat have to say about “There Are No Horseshoes in Heaven” – another acclaimed #1 International Bestseller:

“A beautifully written story of a kindred spirit’s journey through life, discovering ways to leave the world a better place for horses and people too.”   – Monty Roberts

Pat Parreli - Carole Herder Book Review“This lovely book is a must-read. It’s all about never-ending improvement- not only for the sake of our four-legged partners but for ourselves.”   – Pat Parelli

You can tell I am passionate about all this. I write because I care. I love this industry, and genuinely hope to meet you one day.

So, Join Us!

If you’re in Chilliwack, Springfield, or Auckland, be sure to visit!  I promise you’ll have fun and come away with a bright, new outlook about caring for your horse!

We wish you a future full of happy trails and happy hoofs,
