I never leave home without my horse’s Cavallo hoof boots. The horses know what they are for and hold up their hoofs for application. As a rider I believe we should do all we can to make our horse’s experience as enjoyable for them as it is for us. A lot of the trails we ride in my area are canopy trails which means there are roots and limbs that can be just as uncomfortable for a barefoot horse as it would be for us. I love my horses and they love their Cavallos. I carry a spare pair and have on occasion loaned them to another rider and saved the day for them and their horse. It made them believers and they ordered their horse a pair the next day.
