Healing with Cavallo Hoof Boots

I want to thank Cavallo for such a wonderful hoof boot. I want to let you know that when I got my sweet Bella 4 years ago she came to me with already damaged hooves on her front, one was so bad she abscessed from every possible location and just when we thought it was over it would erupt again. She was lame for an entire year while she grew a new hoof. Honestly, I did not think I would ever be able to ride her again and used to just spend as much time with her as I could talking to her and caring for her but deep in my heart I was crying not knowing what was going to happen. The thought of never riding with her again was devastating. She has since healed, I went over in depth with my wonderful farrier and vet about shoes (knowing it was not what I wanted for her) the thought of nailing metal on her already aching feet made me cringe. I could not imagine how in the world that could improve her feet. I spoke with them about boots and we all agreed metal was not the route. I started searching and found Cavallo and ordered a pair of hoof boots. That was 3 years ago. I was nervous at first thinking she would not be able to canter with them but with time and the pastern wraps, she has taken to them perfectly and we gallop full speed ahead thru the grassy fields and go all day thru rocky terrain on the trails, thru mud, and swim in the water.  She is so happy, my girl loves to run in the wind. She is my best friend and I would do anything for her. Of course when Cavallo came out with the color purple, I had to buy them as that is her color! She picks her feet right up for her boots, she knows she is going to have fun!  We love our boots and I have 5 other horses and will surely be “booting” up any who are sensitive.                                                                    – Rose, USA
